One of our key projects entails the development of intelligent chatbots that use GenAI to interact with customers seamlessly and improve their digital experience.  

Your role as a GenAI Engineer 

As a Data Engineer in our GenAI team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing the data pipelines that support our generative AI tools. You will work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and product owners to ensure that our customer chatbot and other GenAI applications are robust, scalable, and effective in meeting our clients' needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the development of innovative AI-driven tools and make a meaningful impact on customer engagement.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Data pipeline development: Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines that support GenAI tooling and handle diverse data sources and databases. 
  • Database & data services: Deploy and manage data services for various use cases, including vector databases used for semantic search, knowledge retrieval and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You also maintain services for conversation history management to enable analytics and insights. 
  • Data quality & scalability: Ensure high data integrity, accuracy and scalability to meet the performance requirements of GenAI applications. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, AI engineers and other stakeholders to support the development and deployment of GenAI solutions. 
  • Optimization & monitoring: Continuously optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to improve efficiency, reliability and performance. 
  • Automation & CI/CD: Develop automation and monitoring solutions to support continuous integration and delivery of GenAI models. 
  • Continuous improvement: Connect real-life chatbot conversations to data pipelines to analyze quality, extract insights and provide feedback for ongoing improvements of GenAI applications. 

Your profile as a GenAI Engineer 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field 
  • Experience with RAG-based solutions; experience with large volumes of unstructured data is a plus 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and their data services 
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; knowledge of Java is a plus 
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI pipelines; understanding of GenAI models is an advantage 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset to tackle complex data engineering challenges
