Working Student AI & Data

As a Working Student AI & Data, you will support the team in analysing historical M&A deals and further developing internal AI and data systems. The primary focus is on data processing and analysis, working with complex deal documentation in a professional M&A environment.
You will combine data analysis, AI and business insight and directly contribute to improving data quality, insights and tooling within Marktlink.

As a Working Student within our Data and AI team, your tasks will include:

• Extracting and structuring data from Information Memoranda (IMs) and other deal documentation
• Collecting, cleaning and enriching historical M&A deal data
• Analysing key variables that influence deal multiples
• Identifying and analysing patterns and trends across sectors and deal types
• Collecting, structuring and prioritising feedback on internally developed AI and data systems
• Translating user feedback into concrete functional and technical requirements
• Supporting the evaluation and further development of AI models and data systems
• Performing data quality checks (completenes, consistency, timeliness)

We are looking for a working student who:

• Is currently enrolled in a HBO or WO bachelor’s programme
• Has an interest in data, AI and analytics
• Works accurately and in a structured manner
• Interest in finance or M&A is a plus 
• Is fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
• Is available 2 days per week
• Is willing to work on-site in Amsterdam
