• Modernize a Fragmented Landscape: Help build a unified, state-of-the-art data platform to replace a fragmented mix of legacy systems and non-standardized tools.

• Drive a New Culture: Promote a data-driven mindset by developing solutions on a platform that empowers the business with accessible, reliable, and actionable insights.

• Deliver Tangible Value: Design and implement solutions using our new Data Lakehouse (built on Databricks, dbt, Fivetran) that unlock measurable business value, simplify processes, and enable advanced analytics and AI.

JOB PURPOSE:

Data is the critical enabler for our future growth. We are seeking a hands-on AI & Data Engineer to join our new AI & Data Engineering team. In this Work Level 1 role, you will focus on building out advanced analytical models and deploying machine learning pipelines on our new global Data Lakehouse. Working closely with EU-based stakeholders, you will bridge the gap between complex data science and production-ready data products

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Solutions Architect, you will:

• Develop AI Applications: Assist in designing and building intelligent applications and agents utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve complex, localized business problems.
• Deliver Tangible Value: Help implement solutions using our new Data Lakehouse (built on Databricks, dbt, Fivetran) that unlock measurable business value, simplify processes, and enable advanced analytics and AI.
• Translate & Model: Work with senior team members to convert business and analytics requirements into logical and physical data models.
• Integrate & Deploy: Take a hands-on role connecting backend data pipelines with front-end interfaces and serverless functions to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate closely: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Key Skills

• Foundational knowledge or practical exposure (e.g., through internships, academic degrees, bootcamps, or personal projects) in Data Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science.

• Strong programming skills in Python (demonstrated through coursework, portfolios, or previous internship experience).

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and analysis.

• Familiarity with basic software engineering principles, such as version control (Git) and an eagerness to learn CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to or project experience building LLM-powered applications, agents, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.

• Familiarity with the modern data stack, including platforms like Azure Databricks.

• Basic understanding of event-driven serverless architectures, such as Azure Functions.

• Any Front-end app development experience (e.g., Streamlit, React, or similar) to help build user interfaces for AI products.
