Senior Full Stack AI Engineer

For this role, you will join Dataleaps as a Freelance Consultant, embedded in one of the Netherlands’ largest cosmetic retail companies to scale their GenAI and agentic application landscape.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer (Freelance / Contractor) to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications.

You will take end-to-end ownership of AI products — from backend data pipelines and orchestration logic to APIs and user-facing AI experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable AI-powered applications with high-performance backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces.

• Architect enterprise data connectors and ETL pipelines.

• Design and optimize advanced RAG architectures (hybrid search, multi-stage re-ranking).

• Develop agentic systems and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.

• Provision and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Docker.

• Implement secure authentication and identity management (e.g., EntraID).

• Ensure AI-specific security (prompt injection mitigation, data anonymization).

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong frontend expertise with Next.js and Tailwind CSS.

• Backend engineering with Python and FastAPI.

• Deep experience in RAG systems and agentic architectures.

• Infrastructure expertise in GCP, Terraform, Docker.

• Experience integrating CRMs, internal enterprise systems, and legacy APIs.

• Strong DevOps and Git workflow discipline.

• Enterprise IAM and authentication experience.
